Most programs listed during our New Student Arrival and Welcome are mandatory. Students should make arrangements and plans to be available at these programs.

5:00-6:45             Dinner available at the Top of the UC (UC Fourth Floor)

“New students and guests are invited to eat lunch at the dining facility. New students may swipe in with your EagleOne Card while families and guests may pay $12.00 per person at the door for a meal.”

2:45-3:00            Travel Time for FY students to various locations

3:00-4:15            Honor Training/Community Responsibility & Code of Conduct Training

Calculus Placement Exam: This exam is optional for any student who wishes to take the next Calculus course beyond what they currently have university credit for.  A student without credit for MATH 121 (Calculus I) but who feels their preparation is sufficient for them to begin with MATH 122 (Calculus II). Students who have earned AP credit for MATH 121 and wish to start with MATH 122 need not take this exam. Students  should email the chair of the Math Department directly to arrange for taking the exam.
