Prior to Orientation

Prior to Orientation 2021, transfer students are encouraged to contact Academic Services at 540-654-1010 to make an appointment to be academic advisement. Your advisor will discuss your options and help you put together a schedule.

Your Orientation Day

UMW’s virtual orientation will be held over Zoom, an online, interactive video conferencing platform that allows for new Eagles to connect with each other during their session. We recommend that you access orientation on a computer with internet connection, and audio and video capabilities. During orientation you will meet other new Eagles, learn to navigate Canvas modules, and find out more about the other items you need to complete to prepare you for your arrival on campus in August.
