Advice for incoming students: Get involved on campus! There are a lot of fun clubs and sports teams on campus that can help you make friends and spend your free time.
Fun fact: I love whitewater rafting and running!

Most looking forward to about NEST: I’m most looking forward to meeting all of the new student and having the chance to lead beside them as they become more comfortable with our campus and the surrounding Fredericksburg area!
Advice for incoming students: One of the best things about your first year is all of the new people you will be meeting. It’s okay if you find yourself unable to remember someone’s name. If meeting people is nerve wracking, that’s okay. Almost everyone will be nervous when they first arrive on campus. The most important thing is to have an open mind and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.
Fun fact: I’m actually from what some consider the *real* VA Beach (not Norfolk or Chesapeake).

Advice for incoming students: Don’t skip class! You’ll get a lot of freedom in college but remember that you’re here for an education! Use that freedom wisely!

Advice for incoming students: Be yourself. Everyone is learning and growing. You don’t owe anything to anyone.
