Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Mary Washington! New Student Orientation is a special time for students and the entire Mary Washington community. We are thrilled to welcome you.
This year, due to ongoing concerns with COVID-19, our New Student Orientation and arrival program will be virtual, but no less lively or exciting. Currently, we have closed orientation registration as we complete planning for the new program. An email will be sent to your UMW email account when the registration system opens. If you have already registered for an orientation session, we will be in touch with an email regarding next steps. If you have paid guest fees, they will be refunded.
As information becomes available about the New Student Orientation process, we will make it available to your UMW email account. Please feel free to email orientation@umw.edu with questions. In addition, our current students are eager to talk with you, our incoming Eagles, and your families about the place they love and to answer any question such as “what advice do you have for incoming students?” or “what is your favorite Mary Wash tradition and why?” Below is the link to join our live zoom session which runs every night Monday – Friday from 7-8 p.m.
