Here is an example of the schedule of events from 2022. The 2023 NEST Program schedule will be provided upon program check in from 1-2 PM on Saturday, August 19th on the 1st floor of the Cedric Rucker University Center!
Day 1: Saturday
- Move-In; Check-Into Program
- Parent Goodbye
- Program for students begins at 2:30 pm
- Meet the Leaders and Your NEST group
- Tie Dye/Lawn Games
- Funfest!
- Movie Night
Day 2: Sunday
- Get to know Clubs and organizations on campus
- Sneak peek at campus events!
- Intro to Campus Recreation
- Escape Room
- Trip to student’s local (and favorite) doughnut shop
- Intro to UMW Bingo: A campus tradition (with prizes)!
- Time with your small group
- Trivia
- Trip to grocery store to get anything you might need
Day 3: Monday
- Design your own tote bag
- Pool Time!
- Get to know the Multicultural Center
- Get to know your campus
- Scavenger Hunt
- Board Game night
Day 4: Tuesday
- Service Project
- Get to know downtown Fredericksburg
- Lawn Games, S’mores
- Jackbox Games
