NEST

Full Color Logo

“NEST is an amazing opportunity that allows for incoming students to be able to meet with other first years and upperclassmen and be able to build lasting friendships and get acclimated to college life before the first day of school even starts through activities like tubing on the Rappahannock River, Challenge Discovery, and the National Museum of the America Indian.” – Julianna C., NEST Student Leader

Registration will open on April 1st! Remember that your spot is not reserved until you pay the registration fee. New Experiences for Students Transitioning, referred to as NEST, is a four-day program open to all incoming first-year students spanning August 18-21. NEST offers a unique opportunity to bond with fellow students as you explore UMW and surrounding attractions by participating in activities that encompass our core values of Honor, Leadership, and Social Justice.
